The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I visited my closest disc store yesterday, and found a cool disc made by Gateway. It's a Wizard in recycled plastic, called, I believe, the Organic. Now I'm wishing I would have bought it, simply because it's an innovative concept--making discs from recycled plastic. Next time. . . .  Here's a link for a source that has the referenced disc:

Gateway Organic Discs are available at ClearwaterDiscGolfStore.com.
If you like the recycled "Go Green" Concept, Check out the Echo Line from Innova also.

Can't wait to see the hemp based composite plastic discs hit the market?
We have both Organic Voodoos and Wizards in stock
Yeah Gateway has been doing this for a long time...it wasn't until they realized the potential marketability of recycled plastic that they patented the "Organic" line.
Innova follwed suit about a year after the "Organic" line was started.
Chances are if you have a disc that is 3-4 years old you have some recycled material in that disc.....I ground up a bunch of discs for Dave when I was at the factory two years ago.
I like the feel of the organic and echo-star plastic. Has anyone else noticed that the echo-star plastic seems to be really domey?
I love the smell of those Organic putters. Also wish that Innova would just make discs out of Echo Star only for the Star line. It feels better anyway. Plus, it's more "hippie-ish."
