Virtual gifts is a $1.65B industry, most of that in the context of online gaming, but more and more in just sharing of gifts, such as virtual greeting cards, like disc images and images of mugs of beer.
Marketing Jack.
First you get 100 credits as it costs you nothing to send somebody a gift using 75 of those. That leaves you with 25 credits, not enough to do anything with. So you keep seeing your 25 credits and maybe you don't ever buy anymore, but, maybe you DO.
That way, you can send another gift, and the cash starts rolling in, at least for someone.
Hooray! I now have the option to change the pricing on gifts. The lowest I can go is 25 credits, so that's what the disc golf-related stuff in the Custom category will cost - http://www.discgolfersr.us/gifts/store/show?category=Bf. I had to remove the previous discs and will be adding more as the week goes on, all at that lower price.
