I'm wondering about the stability of the Glo Champ Mako compared to the Star Mako. Does anyone have experience with both plastics?
How about the Glo Valk--is it comparable to other Champ Valks??

thanks!

As far as the Mako goes, I would like to know as well. I have a CFR Champion Mako and it is ever so slightly more stable, just enough that it falls of just a tad bit faster.
In general Glo disc tend to be more Stabel then their counter parts
Ok. I bought and tested a Glo Mako. Slightly more stable than the Star version but still the same disc. I did not test the GLO yet.

I recently bought a Star-Mako and I'm still trying to get used to it. So far I'm not that impressed. When I bought it, the weight selection at the store was limited to either 168 or 180. I chose the 168 because the 180 seemed much too heavy. I normally like 170-172 on my drivers, so I figured 168 would be OK. I thought wrong! I should have got the 180.

My 168 Star-Mako is flippy, has no distance, has no forgiveness on a bad release, has little to no glide (falls fast), and doesn't even roll very good. It does work OK as a putter though.

I'll keep messing with it because I paid $18.00 for the piece-o-sht, but I don't recommend the Mako in any weight due to my bad experience with the 168g.

The 180g does the same as the lighter ones, 167 may hold an annie longer but they are all about the same. If you need a disc you can throw easy and it will anhyzer forever, then the Mako is where its at. Your also right about the glide the just drop out the air. But thats not always a bad thing, I used mine on water hole where it had to drop short. Try throwing it softer, its not a disc you can put alot of torque on. The best shot I found it for is, the 90degree anhyzers put as much air as the hole allows with an anhyzer release the thing will turn and go-go-go.
