It was a few miles south of Beloit, in Illinois, the Wagon Wheel resort was nearby and I think the skeet shoot & disc golf course had that as its name.

The Night Flyer represents a pivotal time in disc golf. Players wanted heavier discs for more consistency and stability. The 40 mold was already the chosen disc for golfers, and worked great with the Mach I Pole Holes. DGA started using the glow filler (Additive) to increase the weight. These frisbees really glowed a lot! They called it the Night Flyer, but after the first year of production (1978), they changed the name to Midnight Flyer. Night Flyers were only made with 40 Mold Glow Frisbees. Midnight Flyers were made in Molds 40, 50, 70, 80 and FB (FastBack), from 1979 to the mid 80's. I think there was a legal issue with the name, possibly with the band Night Flyer, who was popular at the time. Around 2005 a mint Night Flyer would get over $100 on ebay.
