I excepted cash in the open division over the weekend at a B tier on my local course. my first sanctioned event in the open div. I have been planning on going pro sometime soon, and this seemed like a good time to do it. Now here is my question, I have been playing in the "snake river series" in ID as an AM. We have played 2 of 6 of the series events so far.. Now that I have excepted cash, Can I finnish the series as an AM?

I am pretty sure I want to play the next event open, but I would like to know if I have the option.
(I thought I remember something in the PDGA docs that hit on this subject)

you can finish as an am as long as your rating doesn't break 970 before you finish the series

but you can not play am nats or am worlds without petitioning the PDGA
bet that! thanks:)
The Snake River Series Director had to submit a request to the PDGA before the series started that players whose rating or level went above the division they started in could remain there for the series. If the Series Director did that then you can remain in Am only in the Snake River series. If not, then you're now pro for the remaining series events.
