great american smoke out

maybe not the type you were thinking about. Thursday is the annual great American smoke out put on by the American lung association. i was thinking that a bunch of people who want to quit smoking and also play disc golf could meet a local courses and commit to quit smoking cigarettes. I plan on getting out to morely field early on thursday and playing my first smoke free round. I would love to be joined by others who are tired of smoking and ready to quit. maybe if you live elsewhere you could do this on your home course. i also thought that everyone who showed up on thursday could put in 10 bucks and in one month those who have stayed quit comeback and play around for the prize pool. this would be unsanctioned of course.

I gave up smoking February 27, 2007. But to the rest of you: Good luck! And don't give in. Who's stronger, you or the cigarette? If you can't view yourself as stronger than an inanimate object, you very likely can't quit smoking yet. When you're ready, it won't be that hard. If I had tried to quit on February 26, 2007, it never would have worked. But I quit on the 27th and have not had a cigarette since. It was my time, and I was ready.

hey you guys ............. be smoke free, you'll be able to breath again ..... no winding from clogged lungs ....... everytime you go for a smoke go for a 1/2 piece nicorette ............ persist and beat it ........you'll love being smoke free .. 13 years for me now .......... be pure
