The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf
Just a shout out to people who may be interested. Dynamic Discs is doing pre-orders for the second batch of Grip bags. If you order by Feb. 1st. The bag is only $185.00. The bummer is that the release date is approx March 1st, but that is subject to change.
There is also another vendor (Lifetime Disc Sports), but I went through DD. Looks like a very cool bag, so I just thought I'd pass on the info.
NOTE: The pre-orders are through the vendors NOT through Grip EQ. I guess Justin was getting a bunch of flack in some other forums for doing pre-orders. So I wanted to add this info. Also, if you just can't wait a month or so for the next batch of bags. There is a bag for sale/bid on ebay.
Well I'm waiting to hear from somebody I offered my Dualpack to. If he doesn't want it and you are interested, I'll be selling it for $80. It's dark blue with dark gray highlights. It's pretty much a brand new bag. I've only used it for 3 to 5 rounds. But I must say. It is the best bag I've ever had, when it comes to quality. However, it's a poorly designed bag. The opening for the discs is too small. They have mesh pockets on both sides that fit water bottles, but no true bottle holders. I also had to buy a plastic sheet to sit on top of the internal frame so the top pouch doesn't droop onto the disc compartment. The main compartment will fit 15 to 17 discs, but you can store more in the top compartment.
I know, I'd make a crappy salesman, but if you are interested and the other person doesn't want it. You have to know the shortcomings. So I don't feel bad about it.
I love OGIO's stuff, my golf bag is a OGIO.
Is it designed for disc golf or is it just a backpack that can be used for disc golf?
