Check out the nifty animated graphic of courses in the US. The growth in the last half decade is fantastic.

That's great! I saw a map from a couple years ago stating that the Midwest was home to almost all of the 24+ hole courses. I wonder if that still holds true.
I think we will need to see growth in both high calliber and family friendly courses. There's a putter only course in canton mi. that used to be empty- now it's busy.
Putter Only Course???
That's a weird statistic. So, here's the pie chart!

So cool, Steve. Thanks.
Very cool...
nice, i think iowa and wisconsin all but dissappeared. look at the midwest representing!
Thanks for sharing that Terry. Very cool. On the final animation, it looks like it lists the "Most Central" course (although it's hard to read). Does this have some type of importance that I'm missing? I'm not even sure what this means, as this is not nearest the geographic center of the US. Anyone know if this is the median or mean of total US course population?
amazing how fast its grown!!! I live in the greatest disc golf state MICHIGAN!!!!
Thanks Steve. The old one I saw was in flying disc mag- it had it in map form but that's cool too. Glad to see mi. still on top:) -thanks Terry for contributing to that stat. Looks like Cali's trying to make a come up. I remember wisconcon used to be #2.

And Paul, if you threw magnets it would be a putter only course;)
