I absolutley love mine i carry two. One new and overstable and one that is old and beat in. Overstable for sweet drives and headwind putts beat for not headwind putting and approaches. Hands down my favorite putter/disc ever. The groove gives me an accurate and consistant release every time. Its really stable at first but as soon as it beats in you can knock down 30 footers ALL DAY!
Well, it's not for me, but as I've said before. Of all the disc types out there. The putter is the most personel disc out there. For instance. I have to have a neutral putter (stability wise) and it must be tacky, but firm. So the APX swirl works for me. I couldn't get into the thumb track on the banger, because I like my thumb further forward and it was to overstable for me. But hey! that's what works for me:)
Really Comfy... However, I was reading a tread on here about straps and someone posted a like for some straps that were for a tool belt and they looked exactly the same (minus the DGA logo) but they were only $25. So other then the fact that I feel like i could of saved a couple $, I love em.
I really tried to like a Banger GT. Thought Being as overstable as my Challenger the Groove would help me get a little more spin on my putts. BUT, I can't give up the Challenger. It's the only Putter for me.
I have some friends That love them, and nail huge putts all the time with them.
I really like it for approach shots and its stability is great for drives 350 ft. or less. The grove top is also very comfortable and the soft banger doesn't roll away like some of the hard putters ive used. It's also great for windy conditions.
