Has anyone tried the double d?

just saw the double d by Quest AT at hazard discs, has anyone seen or tried this sucka? looks and sounds like it would be like a destroyer with the dimple tech (very very fast). i 'm very interested, want to know more!

I use a old first run, plastic was flexible and it completely floats at 172 gram. acts like a thumber when thrown sidearm it hyzer spikes i call it my cheater disc (it has got me through, out and around many obstacles do to its ability to flex out of almost a tomahawk throw) but they have changed the plastic, it no longer floats, is hard as a rock and i would not trade my old one for anything. invaluable in my bag, it does things no other disc does... Ive had the biggest arms here throw it backhand and they can not turn it over, its a great spike hyzer driver but like i said the plastic changed and is now hard as a rock and i could not tell you about the life expectancy of it. My old one is still stable as all...hope that helps some..

It has dimples to help hold it in the air.
It is extremely overstable.
It is Fast, but requires Power and Snap.
If you flip X-Calibers, maybe try this.

Until it breaks in, randomly one as all have done for me, and by by stability. And this distance/speed is no where close to a destroyer, but destroyers don't float, so I keep one around. I have had one in and around my bag for about a year and a half. They are the only "driver" that floats and you can actually get a max weight of over 170grams.

I use one, but of course I'm with Hazardiscs, the company you were talking about. The Double-D is my go to distance/headwind driver, it's the fastest thing I carry in my bag and the fastest disc I've ever thrown.

They did change the plastic type as of late, it's a little more resilient than the previous one (although I loved that version too) and the different plastic has caused it to be more overstable than before. By the way IT DOES FLOAT, so this would be the one to throw over water since you're most likely going to get it back if it goes in the drink.

And for anyone interested, if you're not too hot about the ones pictured on this page, Hazardiscs has some with a different stamp on them.

i like your stamp better than the ones pictured, but i dont know if i have the snap needed, although the floating thing would be nice! got a water hole or two in mind i'd like to "steal" a stroke or two from the field. might be hearin from me soon. although i have already bought to much plastic this winter :)
