Heat Wave

anybody else itching to play for the past week but cant because of this heatwave? its been brutal the past couple of days with temps over 100 degrees. i cant even step outside to smoke a cigarette without feeling like i am going to die. all i want to do is go throw but i know i couldn't take this heat. anybody else having this problem?

You guys up north in the heat wave zone have it much worse than we do here in Florida. Our highs in central Fl this past week were in the mid 90's ....add the heat index into the mix 103 to 105 tops. Up north the temps were 3 digits with heat indexes as high as 116. The evening news said the high in Newark was 108 today.

My sister said it was 100 in Portland Maine on saturday. It's usually in the 70's.

Heat Wave Update: just got back from playing a glow game and it was awesome! threw pretty good for not playing all week. it was like 90 degrees tonight after it got dark so it was only really hot not deadly hot lol night time disc golf is so much fun and its the best way to beat the heat! and Rocshot your right the past couple days have been all over a hundred degrees with humidity making it feel like 115 or higher! went to the beach today to go swimming and try to cool off but could barely walk to the water because the sand was sooooo hot. when i got home i turned on the news and they were talking about the temperature of the sand and they said it was 130 degrees!! wish i would have known that beforehand lol
