The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

This is a little before my time but some of the old timers I play with were excited to see it and got right to debating if it was an Bucky Worboys disc. I suppose he made a few disc like this. The guy that put it in the CTP said he's had it for about 10-20 years and pulled it off his wall.

Or it could just be a Wisconson disc.. no clue. What do you guys think?

I have no clue who Bucky Worboys is, but that stamp is definately Bucky the Badger, the University of Wisconsin's mascot. I've seen the F'm Bucky many times living here in WI.
I know Bucky...trust me, it's got nothing what so ever to do with him.
some guy had i believe it was 50 of these made before they shut him down due to trademark infringement, i know a guy who has about 7 of them. i'm 99% sure its a DX aviar and i have heard of people trying to get like $100+ for them, they are not actually worth much more than $15-$20.

Thank you Jamie for the Copy and Paste.
You are correct, nothing what so ever!
"Bucky" a nickname for the Wisconsin Badgers?
I have this Hotstamp on a Lightning Disc.
It is definitely an old Lightning Disc. I have lived in Dallas since 1987, and I think that these discs precede me. Mike "Hoser" Williams even wrote a song about it.
ive seen it on a very early p38 as well.my friend here in bc has 1.i heard an infringement story as well
I had a red aviar with that stamp on it when I lived in Seattle late 80s
Im not really sure what Bucky Worboys is but i do know that this is one of the more awesome dyes ive ever seen and want it.
Steve, It's not a dye, it's actually a hot stamp.
Thanks for all the input, some of it is similar to what I have been hearing. Guess I'll just shelf it until I find a wisco fan that is willing to sell his soul for it.... kidding.
Bucky Worboys is one of the top competitors in the Florida Area.
He is qualified to play in the OPEN division but has signed up for MASTERS of late.
Extremely consistent accurate thrower with No extra power in his game.
He has been my competition for many years and should still compete in the OPEN division.
Bucky is always at the top of the pack during competition!
He has a four digit PDGA Number and a very high rating...
