Heard any good names for holes at the Grove? Official or Unofficial serious or goofy. Any good G-rated names will eventually make it on Tee Signs.

Hole 4 is a memorial to Scott Wales wife. The wooden blank in the teepad is going to be replaced with a brass memorial to his wife when it arrives. Scott Wales generously donated about $1,000 of his own money for the teepad concrete. In addition to that he spent endless hours of hard labor building this course.

Adam - before you start making tee signs, it'd be good to see what the final decision on course flow/hole numbers is. Maybe this needs it's own thread....I think the flow should go from current #4 to current #10, play all the holes back there, then to current #5 - current #9, then to #16. Others have suggested #4 to current #6 -#15, then current #5, then #16.

Excellent idea Matt. I agree with you that some of these names would definately be effected by decisions that we make about course flow. I thought about that when I suggested "Stairway To Seven" which I really like. My most recent understanding is that seven will not remain 7. There have been some discussions about course flow in the "Course Responsibility" thread. There have also been some discussions on the "Northwest Disc Golf News" "Ninkasi Winter Series Thread". I would encourage you to start on on this site as well.

There is nothing concrete happening with the "Tee Signs" at this point. Just ideas being tossed around. I don't have any plans to make Tee Signs. Please hop into the Hole Name discussion. It's a hoot.
