My main goal for 2010 is to really work on my back hand, I have never really been able to get it down.  I recently have added a Z Comet, and a X Comet to my bag, and I feel like it has helped me to shave off more strokes than any other disc that I have tried.  I think that I even like it better than the Buzz.  Although, the Buzz still isn't coming out of my bag.
Just looking to see what other people think about the Comet, So far 2 weeks in my bag and I love it.

since, i bought 2 Flx Buzzzes, and like them more than my Z Buzzz.
Love the Flx buzz, i've got 3. Besides that I use a Flx drone and thats it on midranges
The comet is an amazing disc, glides so far, so straight, with so little effort.
I really want to love my X Comet, but I can't seem to throw it with any consistency. I imagine learning how to throw it well would correct a lot of my bad habits, but I have a hard time making myself do that when my Buzzz, Wasp, and Drone all fly so nicely. I must say that a well thrown Comet is a thing of beauty--just watch Michael Johansen throw his.
I have a green 178 Z comet which had good stability, can be thrown hyzer, straight, and anny with little to no fade. I like it best for flat ground tunnel shots where you need to land in the fairway to score well. Accurate, easy to throw and goes a little farther then you think it would (275-300) And out in practice I have throw this disc 360 + on large anny lines. LOVE ME SOME COMET
Great flat or anhyzer disc if you throw with finesse. If not, stick to the buzzz . If you love it then go to the field and throw the crap out of it until you do throw it with finesse. I gave mine away due to the lack of confidence I had with it. I would rather force a Buzzz than trust a Comet.-O
exactly!!
No way, no sense in having to force a disc. I throw it hard on a hyzer flip and I can put it out up to 325ft straight as an arrow, or I throw the X Comet super hard on a hyzer flip and it will go super straight, and turn slightly to the right at the end of its flight.
I haven't thrown one for years, mainly because I chuck the shit out of the Buzzz now. It did, however get me through some really tight woods in LaPorte, CO on a regular basis. Great disc for short, but straight shots. When newer, it would fly straight as an arrow and used quite a bit, it would flip to the right.
The comet is my turnover mid-range of choice, i couldn't play short anhyzer holes without it.
My Z comet always seemed a bit bulky, but did fly very well. I'll wait to find an ESP one, but for now I just ordered a Meteor to see what that does.
It's like my beat up Roc. Has a nice Glide for short turnover shots.
