The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

i'm new in disc golf but highly addicted. i played in my first tournament in november. the autumn open in birmingham, al. i won the novice division btw. since then i just can't get enough disc golf. i've played 5 rounds in a day and have played 20 rounds in a week. when i'm home i'm on this site and the disc golf birmingham site. i have a problem. just kidding. my question is, how would i go about hosting disc golf tournaments? is it very expensive? what channels do i need to go through to become pdga sanctioned? any info would be greatly appreciated.

The first three on planning and running events are useful whether you run it as PDGA sanctioned or not.
