The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

How many diffrent types of discs do you carry in your bag? I think I am going to go with about 4-5 diffrent ones depending on what works. I will probally keep a main driver(Beast), two mids, and the avair. I might put in a 2nd driver such as the Boss to replace the Beast.(that will probally never happen) I might also use a Eagle for a short yardage holes on the drive.

My Avengers are my "Dogs" . . . I carry 3 of them - one: "beat up"; one: "Just right"; and one "breaking in" - ALL Baby Blue :)
I have one super beat up Wildcat for Anhyzers/Turn Over shots
One Flash for "stable up" driving.
My midrange are: Holiday Buzz (elite) and Buzz GT
And (as always) my Putters are First Run Pink Magnets . . .although I really like the Wizards and have just tried them, too.

So - 5 Drivers, 2 Midrange and 2 Putters = My Tournament Bag. I know all my babies and how they will react and don't need a special disc for each shot - I just pick the right disc for the current wind and altitude conditions and throw it :).

Okay, I've pared down the bag to:

Champ Teerex-X
ESP Surge
Champ Sidewinder
Star TL
Champ TL
Champ Firebird

Dx Roc
D Stratus

D Challenger

I feeling "lighter" having shared that. I also carry 1 liter less of water for rounds...I'm gonna only make it 1/2 L for league and casual rounds. Hydrate in the hours before the round, during the round is too late.
Don't carry too many.
171 star destroyer
170 pro destroyer
171 champ orc
171 z surge ss
174 star valk
172 champ valk
172 champ viking
172 champ sidewinder
173 opto striker
171 opto striker
174 z wasp
176 opto core(x2)
176 x buzz
174 crystal challenger
175 soft magic(x2)

all packed into a camo gorilla boy silver back
i know this was posted awhile ago but was just wondering about the star destroyer, i am thimking of getting one but dont know much about it...what kind of shots do you use it for?
-Echo Boss
-1st Run Destroyer
-10x T-Bird
-CE Leopard
-2 ProLine Leopards
-Star Leopard

-2 KC Rocs (1 newer, 1 beat)
-CE Roc

-'96 Big Bead Aviar
-KC Aviar
When my bag is how i want want it i will have eight molds. Four drivers two mids and two putters.
What a kind man...don't forget to pay it forward!
ALOT..... Really but I throw them all, one at a time.

20-22 discs
I learned to throw from a guy who threw all Innova so thats kinda what I've learned, I throw:

Star Wraiths (distance)
Champion Valkyrie (straight)
Champ TL (control)
Old Pro FX-Firebird (windy/hyzer)
Champion Whippet (knife hyzer/overstable curling roller)
DX Leopard (anhyzer/ hyzer flip for straight shots)

Old DX Roc (anhyzer/hyzer flip)
DX Gator (windy/hyzer upshots)
Old DX Rhyno (goes where I throws)
Floppy Pro Rhyno (upshots I need to stick and not skip/slide)
DX Aviar (long calm upshots/putts)
Hard DX Rhyno (main putter)

I also have a ESP Buzzz which I like alot and an ESP Stalker that is about 1 more great shot away from taking the spot of my TL for good.

Can anybody suggest any other discs that I might like based on what I throw? I Don't know much about Discraft, DGA, Gateway, Lat. ect. due to the fact that I just always threw what I already knew which way Innova, but I'm willing to try anything from anybody, not partial to one or the other so if you throw stuff similar to what i throw and have a disc that just blew your mind and you think everybody should have in thier bag let me know so I can try it out...

Z Nuke (BH distance)
Z Monarch (BH straight)
Star SL (also BH straight)
Z Flick (Tomahawks & Thumbers)
ESP Nate Doss Surge (Forehands)

Z Buzzz (Straight w/ fade left)
DX Roc (Straight)
DX Shark (anhyzers)
Opto Core (any line you put on it)

SS Wizard (BH Putts)
Soft Magnet (FH Putts)
