I once played 135 holes in one day. I was on the course at Mallette Park in Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124, United States before the sun rose up over the great Sandias mountain that keeps Albuqueque New Mexico cool and awesome. The locals call that mountian "God". I played 15 rounds of nine holes each, and LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!
I played there every day for about 3 weeks straight, stopping in a casino on the way home to ejoy the green chili buffet.
The neigbors called the cops on me 3 times because they thought I had moved into the course parking lot.
That course is like walking distance from my dads house. I play there alot in the early morning when I visit him, usually before anyone else gets up.
Funny story once I locked my keys in my truck, and my golf bag so I couldn't even play first. So I walked down to the corner and found a storage place that just opened. I told the lady working there what happened and she got out a phone book, made the call to the locksmith, and everything while I just stood there.
He was there in a half hour and I was playing golf shortly there after.
Rio Rancho is a nice place.
I played 106 holes a few years back during the twenty-four hour marathon that Chris Himing ran in Lewisville, Tx. Six rounds, and won first round of singles, won the doubles, then second on another round, ended up making like eighty bucks and played all night. Crashed in my truck in the parking lot at about five in the morning. I wasn't the only one either, there were people crashing everywhere.
We take an annual disc golf trip every summer to a different state and play disc for a week. We played Highbridge one year and played Blueberry Hill. We were told Gold would take us 6 hours to play. If you did play all 6 courses in one day, then I am very impressed. I think our max for one day is only like 63 (three 18's and a 9er), but we play for 5 days, so our weekly total is like 300-350 holes.
