The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I have a friend who works at the Broadmoor here in Colorado Springs, and he was asked to come up with an idea to bring more money in. He wants to do something with disc golf, so he asked me to come up with an idea like a basics clinic. It would need to make a profit, and initially it would be for Broadmoor members only. For those of you who don't know, the Broadmoor is the upper end of the finical hierarchy with a top notch ball golf course. The members have money, and wouldn't hurt to get some of them addicted to this sport.

I am just wondering if anyone has some ideas that we could use to get this plan rolling.

I've been there (took a look around) Man, I think it would be a tough sell for the type of people that go there. I guess your best bet would be to try and intagrate it with ball golf and have some type of clinic. Maybe have some baskets and putters around. Give little door prizes if they can sink a 25 footer or more? I say this, because there first impression will be "No problem, how can you not make it in the basket" Break the stigma and show them it is not as easy, but much more fun than say, ball golf.
That was our plan: to advertise something to the likes of "Regular Golf getting too easy?" We really want to play to their competitive side and perhaps hold a tournament at the end of a couple week clinic. Thanks for the door prize idea
