Pretty nasty from what I have seen. Some places are unplayable because you'll get 100 tics on you. There is also this really sticky vine just smothering every plant and every thing. Probably not any better than snakes, gators, and chiggers but I think disc is worth it, anyhoot.

The dogs and I haven't encountered too many ticks this year (maybe Advantix II does work).  But, poison ivy is definitely my biggest foe this season.  Every time I think I've got my spots under control a new batch pops up.  I might have to go back to discing in long pants, something I hate doing with temperatures well over 80 degrees.

Shouldn't have said anything.  I had to pull a tick off my shin today, which means I will also have to inspect the dogs.

OOF

we are in north east MS and tics are bad this year. during every round we have found ticks on us. i pulled two off of my legs today..

On a positive note, I have not encountered many mosquitoes this year, but poison ivy and ticks are in the suck zone! The case of sumac on my legs makes me want to take a cheese grater to them.
