First if there is a Name and number on the disc, call and return it. No numbers? Well its your lucky day. Anyway I would sell it for 5-10 depending on what KC pro Aviar it is. If its an average everyday one 5 or less. You won't have much luck dyeing it, so no increase in price there, maybe for dye. And if its a 5x or 10x KC pro Maybe 10. But I don't value these discs at all regardless so, the value lies in the person but thats what I would sell it for.
why wont i have much luck dyeing it
Its similiar to DX and from what I have heard DX is a crappy plastic to dye and it doesnt hold well. The dye probably wont come out the way you want it to.
I believe the plastic does not absorb the dye like Champ, Z, ESP, and Star do. So it's not the best plastic to dye. Maybe one of the killer dye people can chime in.
What about the normal plastic.
I've dyed some discs and found that:
DX does NOT dye at all.
However, Pro, Champion, and Star plastic all dye rather well. Pro and Champions possibly dye the best. I've had luck dying Pros, to be honest.
You obviously have not seen my dyes, I have dyed DX and R-Pro and you should just give that disc to start someone out in disc golf. Promote the game.
i dyed my son's KC pro Aviar black, but it came out greenish, looked even better than i envisioned, but definitely didn't reach my initial intended outcome.
but that green color would help because he want the monster sign on it
