Congrats on your ace, but to me the drama is not there. Some say "an Ace is an Ace", but you had to empty out your bag to do it. As I have played with Mr. Blaze before, I believe he skipped his in on the first attempt at the basket. I see the joy and surprise are there in that moment.

Permalink Reply by Blazo on January 3, 2009 at 8:27pm I know this may be getting a little technical for this thread being as many of us are playing fairly casually on most of our day to day rounds. However, I think the official definition of an ace requires the throw to be your first shot on that hole from the designated teeing area, during an actual round. My friend hit, what he thought was an ace, one day at a private course. He was throwing multiple discs from a tee next to our lunch area between rounds, and boom, second throw crashed the chains we all cheered and he was excited. It was a great shot and fun to watch but by no means worthy of the ace pot or marking that the first ace on that hole. I think we labeled it a practice ace, and we all congratulated him on his amazing practice shot.
