I laid out a 9 Hole "Object Course" in my Neighborhood.... Practice Course right out my Door.

Laid out a 9 Hole "Object", Tone pole-ish course today in the empty lots on my cul-de-sac that aren't being built on. Shortest hole is 111ft, longest is 317ft. Gonna be a Putter Only type thing for anyone that can throw, but it's Still Hella Fun. Too Close to Houses and Cars to be Hucking anything more...... Chest High "No Parking" signs are the "Targets" on most holes, but a Fire Hydrant and Power Box Cover worked there way in too. Small Targets! My Kids LOVE IT. Got the hole lengths figured and plotted using Google Earth. TONS OF O.B.!!!! FUN Stuff. :)

Any way to use some of the trees as alternet "O/T".Painted/taped box on trunks.Might cut down on distance thrown.perhaps a small "mini" course in open area for a change up.nice use of land however.

The Mini Course thing sounds cool Ed. I might have to look at that. I wish I could use trees and such, but I CANNOT change, Modify, Add, OR Remove anything from this property. So, I have to use whats there and that's it. Shortening the distance doesn't concern me too much because I set up each hole with the Least Opportunity for hitting a house, even for the Newest of players. My Kids haven't come close to hitting anything! Lol. That's been a relief. :)
