The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf
Yeppers! You heard right! I'm in the market for a 190 or heavier D plastic Jaguar. The whiter and newer the better! Hell I'll even trade if I've got something you want! I'm dying to get back my old roller since my last one broke last Summer I've had to try other discs and man do they suck! :-P

Yeah, I've been using Jags for as long as I've been playing Disc Golf! They work damned good as rollers once you figure them out and the heaviest ones will roll through 5-6 inches of grass for along while before the drag slows them down. Not only that but they make a GRRRRRRRREAT understable flippy driver disc that'll give you lots of distance before it turns into a roller for even more distance!! Thanks for writing!

Not sure if anyone still sells these. There are a few sites that deal in "vintage discs".

Permalink Reply by Jim Coonradt on December 21, 2012 at 12:55am I totally understand that when you find a disc that works for you, you want to keep throwing it. Unfortunately the Jaguar seems to be quite hard to find these days, especially if you want a white one in a certain weight.
Permalink Reply by J. Anthony Carter on December 21, 2012 at 8:29am Lol, well Jim, what I said was "the whiter the better" by which I meant I'm partial to lighter colors so they're easier to find. White wasn't so much written in stone as a suggestion. The weight is important though because that's what lets those amazing Jags cut through even tall grass on the roll and helps keep them rolling in every other situation.

Permalink Reply by Tramer Tom on December 21, 2012 at 10:46pm I admit it is a specialty thing but I've gotten fairly good at it even though, you live by the roller, you die by the roller still bites me in the butt from time to time! Lmao.
