or would it be a hook for an RHBH...

I purchased an ESP Avenger SS within the last few months.  LOVE IT...  most of the time...  It was a wonderful hyzer-flip disc for a while, then I realized that I needed to stop working on flips and just work on a nice smooth motion on a level-ish plane...  things were GREAT for a few weeks...  haven't hit any trees or anything that would make me think anything else is wrong, but now my Avenger SS is suddenly not coming back the way it used to...

No other disc is doing this, that I can think of... my once super reliable disc just really went belly up...  it's perfect for annys since it doesn't want to come back and fade left... but even my Pro-D XL (with a ding in it from a sign) comes back, and I thought it was a lot more understable than the Avenger SS...

I am not an overly powerful thrower, but my distance has begun to come around within the last few months...  FWIW, I did switch from RHFH last summer when tendinitis in my elbow flared .  I am definitely not a beginner, but I am miles away from being great....  it's not discouraging, but man, I love that disc and want it to be the way it was... (SNIFF SNIFF  BOO HOO)

so could it be form?  could I be overthrowing the disc?  could it be time for a new disc?  HELP!

Banshee will always come back. Sidewinder if you don't torque it too much. You are probably gaining power so you may have to go slightly more overstable with your disc choice. Star TeeBird maybe. The Quest AT Classic Inferno is another good choice.
Sounds like both your disc and your backhand are maturing and getting better. That's the way of disc golf. Every time I think I've got it figured out, something changes. I'd just enjoy the anny's and look for a new disc, perhaps a new AvengerSS. Or, perhaps you should try a SurgeSS, they are supposed to be a bit more stable than the AvengerSS.
Your disc and form have matured like others have said. you can either continue to hyzer flip the disc, or get something a little more stable such as a River, Vision both from Latitude 64, or a Discraft Stalker
Well, it was bound to happen. The better your form (power snd snap) the more the disc will turnover. So you can continue to throw it, but gate down your power (from what I've read. It's power not spin, that turns a disc over). Put more hyzer on it or just make it your favorite turnover disc and get a more stable disc to replace it. There are as many opinions as there are discs out there. One of my favorite discs of all times. Is the Valkyrie, because it can morph into multipe discs. What I mean by that is. You start off with it as you hyzer disc, you get better, it becomes your control disc...more improvement, hyzer flip etc.... Guess you can say that for alot of discs out there. Heck, look at Innovas "fairway drivers" At one time they were "distance drivers" So as you have seen. Discs change and so do the people that throw them. As Clint Eastwood once said..."You improvise, adapt, and overcome" lol!
Are you feeling lucky Punk?

The Enforcer I think.
get a new one, sounds like its braking in.
Close, good old Dirt Harry. The first and best imo. Jeez, just might have to break it out and watch it!
I have an Elite Z Surge SS which I haven't thrown much until this started because I just fell for the Avenger SS...

Played today and it did the same thing, except for one hole... throwing with the wind coming from a direction I knew would cause a completely different line with that Avenger SS... but, oh well.... I do like having the ability to get that anny out of it!
