The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

My roommate is being a dick and pissy because I just beat him in a round, and he had to take tag #24.

Please mock him.

Hahahaha I just did that to a friend of mine not to long ago. I got tag #5 and he got my # 72 lol
we don't bag tag in hawaii , but if we did........shot par last sunday at mackenzie , and beat everyone . my first par since getting back into this great sport , also my first win !
Tags around here are a complete waste of time because half of them just disappear and you end up with a very few low ones and quite a few high ones. The only way that tags can work at all is if there is some sort of system to make sure that the tags are getting played for on a regular basis. Me, I just play for money. It is more fun to take home some cash.
Always play for Bag Tags.
Bag tag and $5 works right?
Bag tags are fun, but they get the best of some people. When we first started doing bag tags we had some people just like this and it killed it for me. I don't care about tags, I only did it because it is for club sponsorship and to help the sport grow here in AK.

If people get that pissed over playing bag tags I don't think they should be playing. Take the whiney-pee-pants attitude elsewhere or don't participate in the bag tag challenge.
It was a joke... calm down sir
The best way to do tags is distribute them out through your local club so that every week at league everyone puts in their tag and at the end of the round (before handicap, if you league is handicapped) the tags are distributed back out to the players in order of score (lowest score = lowest # tag). If someone is puppy guarding a low tag you hassle them by email or w/e till they show up and play for it. No point in having a low numbered tag if you are not a good enough player to defend it.

And good job on taking your buddies tag!!!!! That is the whole fun in it, this week you won and hassle him and next week someone will take your tag and be able to hassle you.
I didn't mean nothing by it, I understand it was a joke ;) I just know there are folks out there that REALLY take the bag tags super serious and it kills the fun in it.
