Does anyone use the installable Black Jax Aeropods LED lights? I just put one on an Elite Z Buzz that was 175 g already. Although the lights weight very little, I've noticed a change in the weight already. I was curious if anyone here has used these lights before and how they affected the flight? I don't think the added weight will be that big of a factor, but what about the connection on the top and bottem. It seems to cut away a little aerodynamics as well as glide of the disc... any comments? I'll get a picture up when I get a chance...

I have not used them personally, but I have heard my buddy and people on here say that they make the disc fly quite a bit different, actually "like a paper plate" is I think what he said. I will stick to taping LED lights to my Z plastic instead of putting screws into my disc and making it illegal for sanctioned tournament use. I would just rather be able to throw my regular discs at night that I throw normally, instead of making a heavy weight Buzzz weigh around 200g.
I would have to agree, unless you want to "lose" these discs by drilling holes in them. I personally use the mini led's. They don't add much weight and in my case they only make the disc a little understable. Best price that I have found is Sun King Disc sports, 3 pack for $9. These lights are usually good for 4 or 5 rounds. Another option is the dollar store. Usually can fing 12 packs of the 8" (bracelets) for $1. Tape these on top and or bottom of your discs just like the LED's. Basically those light pods ruin your disc and add lots of weight. Last option would be the Light up discs themselves. I think Black Jax makes two different drivers, mid-range, and a putter.
Are they FAA approved?????
Yeah I think so there buddy... the ATCT gets a little confused but that's ok...

I don't mind putting the holes in those particular discs only because they're old and I never use them... I figured it was a good way to at least get some use out of them somewhere down the road... I've thrown the actual black jax driver and didn't like it... that's why I went this route.... it's all good though... both discs are set to go...
Just buy an LED at radio shack and tape it to a 3v button battery then tape that to the disc. It only adds ~1gram to the weight so it doesn't effect flight at all that I have noticed.
