Do pdga members have priority over nonmembers at sold-out pdga tourneys?

I have never heard of this being the case, but could understand if it was so. It's a PDGA event afterall.

in my experince first with cash is in after a cetrin time, but before that it is pdga members.

This is one of the issues that really bugs many PDGA members. Although I am not current in my membership, I remeber this issue being discussed many times. It is the nature of the beast. The events have to take the people who show up or preregister first. $$$$$ talks....

I was bumped from a tourney in Sarasota in 99. Pre-registered 2 weeks early, booked two nights at a hotel, brought my wife and drove 200 miles. Sat I checked in, attended players meeting, got my cards and went to my hole to practice. Someone came out and said I had to go back to see the T.D. On the way back the 2 minute warning sounded. The T. D. said that Greg Hosfeld showed up late and wanted to play. Since I was not current they took me out and put him in. They gave me my money back and said that a current PDGA member can bump a non-current one. I practically begged them to let me play considering what I had spent and so forth. No way.
I'm in the same situation now where I'm on a waiting list for the Sizzler. There are many Rec non-members registered. Can I bump them like it was done to me? Was it ever a rule or did I get screwed?

Sounds like the TD was following a non-rule - something perceived by some as a rule but wasn't. I think the only time the PDGA had a bump rule similar to this was when the NT started in the early 2000s. A certain number of spots were reserved for touring pros up to 2 weeks in advance of an NT event before it was open to any member. But that was touring card members bumping regular members, not non-members.
