Is this disc really worth $175. You gotta be rich, or crazy.

I was scrolling through ebay when I was suppossed to be working and to my surprise I came across this Roc. Is it really worth this much? Would anyone really be willing to pay this much for such a disc?

Skipper is king!!!!!!!! Disc collectors make it so hard for the rest of us. I love first run discs for the simple fact that they are generally flat. Flat means farther.

Besides, if a disc is worth a large amount of money to someone that throws that disc confidently and consistantly, it's worth it. With the risk of sounding silly, I have bought CE Teebirds for more than that, and Leopards for a little less.

How about a used CE Firebird for $50? Really, $50 for a used disc? Some folks are just out to see how much they can get off of Ebay. And you never know. Some schmuck just might go for it. I don't know about all of this collector's stuff. I have a hacky sack that's valued at over $100 because they don't make it anymore. I just drive it around with it in the Volvo. I guess that if someone has $175 (plus shipping) to spend on a disc and they really want that particular disc then they will buy it. Me, I think that I'll pass on this one.

the thing that I find crazy is I am mostly a Discraft Guy, so I don't normally keep an eye out on Innova Stuff. I don't think that I ever really see any Discraft discs priced like this. Normally the most I see on Discraft stuff is $50, the most I think I saw was like $100 on a Discraft Magnet one time. I have a nice small collection of discs, $50 I could maybe justify if it was payday, and I worked a bunch of ovetime. But that's a big maybe. $100 would definitly be out there.
Are Innova discs worth more than Discraft. I supposse it depends on the player right??
