U where on top of a moutain, right?

You should try really chucking one 800 ft., say at hole 18 at Sipapu. Now that is fun!

please make a video of this, can it hold any disc?

It might be an interesting way to test out new discs and how they fly.

This topic is inane, but I've often wondered if it would be possible to make such a device. One that could throw a disc in a way remotely close to an actual player. It would be fantastic for comparing discs, seeing how each flies under the same (or as close as we can come to) circumstances.

Try the Wii disc golf game.  Same thing.

........real physical discs........ for testing purposes

Ive thrown 800+ a few times. Hole 18 solitude utah 1219 feet all down hill.

Best feeling in the world too. I threw one within 15 feet of hole 18 at Sipapu. So cool to watch the disc just keep going and going. Too bad I missed the putt. The one thing about throwing downhill is you have to throw down at an angle.

I heard that someone actually aced that hole.

You have to throw the disc the slope of the mountain or hill.  Fun Fun Fun!!!!
