My buddies and I are thinking of driving down to kimball pines in battle creek tomorrow morning to practice for the lumberjack. Are there any locals out there who want to show us around? Get with me

I cannot make it out to play on Saturday but I can give you an update on the conditions. The tees are in great shape. The fairways and parking lots are rough. A mix of mud and ice. You may or may not know that 2 fairly new holes follow hole #1--after you putt out on #1 hang a hard left down the trail to hole #A. After hole #A turn hard right and walk along the edge of the parking lot to hole #B. #2 is easy to spot from there. Hole #13 and #14 were pulled last year but will be used in the LJO (probably). Also, #17 basket is missing.
If you or anyone else can make it out Sunday we will be playing at noon.
Yes...there should be some discers playing around 11am. The day is set, but the time is not set in stone. And besides...I thought you played recently. Like when you lost your disc? Or am I mistaken.

Mark,
We just had some rain and Lake Kimball Pines may be back (it was almost dried up) Parked in the paved parking lot befor the entrance due to sloppy conditions by hole #1. I'll be at Kimball both Saurday and Sunday just before or at noon to play with friends.

Yeah, the gravel lot there is usually a mess too. I was already planning on parking over there. I guess we will see what the weather provides this week.

Are you coming down to play Kimball this weekend?? What division will you enter at the LJO??
To Fedora, Lotto & John,

For Saturday...Were shooting for 11. Sunday @ noon definitly. As Mr. Curtis has said, parking down below by & around hole #1 may be sloppy due to rain. Best bet is to park at the end of the paved lot before the entrance to the park gate. You can tell where to park because of the gray apartment complex across the way. This is NOT Kimball Pines parking, but just temporary until the park lot dries out some.
Also the tournament may be a 24 hole layout (from 18). I do not know where the additional six holes will be located. On Saturday... there should be someone playing along who has played in this event in the past @ Kimball. Hope all this helps.

Fedora,
I am not the person who has your disc. The one who does will have it. I'll make sure he brings it with him as he will be playing in the tournament. That's ll I can offer at this time. Sorry.
K.
ill be out there tuesday and wednesday morning if anyone wants to join me.
