Props to Larry, because every other tourney I play in might be fun, but its not up to his level. His payouts are enormous, disc selection is huge, tourney-specific rules are fair, everything is just done top-notch. I've been spoiled playing in his tourneys more than any others, but now I really realize why they chose him to host the 08 Worlds. He doesn't use this site much, so I'm not kissing up to him, just starting a thread I think will be "AMEN'ed" by everyone who's played in one of his events. If you have the chance to play in a LaBond event, DO IT! I know I won't miss one for as long as I can help it.

This article made me think to start this thread:

He also designed two of my top 10 favorite courses, victory park in albion and coldbrook in galesburg.

Never played in one, but Lyle McCoon from Nicholasville Ky is the best TD I have experienced. He is the TD for the Lexington Open which is hands down the best tournament I have played in. It will forever be on my list of must play tournaments!!
I have never met Larry , but it sounds like he is doing the right thing for the players !!!
