Hopefully something is done with the rough, the rough is all thorn bushes. If you can't keep it in the fairway, prepare to bleed.

Permalink Reply by DiscGolfFlyMart.com on December 6, 2008 at 12:14am Hopefully one of the courses is very short and easy. That way the Pro Grandmasters can play it every single round of Worlds. The PDGA seems to believe the GMs cannot handle a tough course, seeing as we are so close to death anyway. It would be ideal if that one short easy course was all righty hyzer tunnels since the GMs should not be forced to throw any lefty holes. Barring that, poke-and-hope on short holes would be acceptable, too. We had training for this challenge at '08 Worlds- so we should be prepared for it.
If none of the courses fit the proper requirements then the GM division should be given a series of medium to short range putts-no drives or upshots need be thrown. GM's only have so many steps left in their sad lives. No reason to waste them walking fairways. Rocking chairs should be provided between putts.
Of course, these same guidelines need to be adopted for Kansas City Worlds in '09. Please do not expect GM's to act like athletes.
