The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I will be traveling up to the Cedar Hill area from Austin sometime next week. Actual date yet to be determined. Would like to play both courses and having a local join me would be much appreciated.

You should enjoy the courses:

- Be prepared for some mud if it has rained
- Remember that the tee sign shows the way from the basket to the next tee
- Be prepared for some short holes with no obvious fairway.
- Look for wild animals-no danger, but pretty cool to see.
- Try and find "The Flag".
Are the short holes with no fairways blind? If I end up playing these courses solo will locating discs be difficult? Please explain "the flag" my curiosity might kill me and then I won't be around to enjoy these courses.
Some of them are blind, but they are short enough where you can walk ahead and find the basket.

re: "The Flag" - When you get to the last 4 or 5 holes on the course, can't remember which one, look at the basket, then look to the sky....
