Lightweight Discs

What is the lightest weight disks that are allowed? Is there anything below 150g or what?

Quest AT makes several discs that they call Ultralights, very light discs. They go as low as 120 g.

Yea my girlfriend throws a 136 R-pro boss ands bombs it. Great disc for slower arm speeds

PDGA only specifies maximum weights:

Throw as light as you can if possible. Weights apply to Japan Open at 150 grams. PDGA states 8.2 grams per centimeter of diameter.

Keep in mind that the lighter discs require more spin and less power.
-tricky to accomplish-
As a reminder of this, I drive my heavier discs across my chest and I drive my lighter discs lower by my belt line.
I will put a lot of beef and power on the heavier discs and less power and more snap on the lighter ones.
Like snapping a towel.
Spin is what holds a disc in the air.
As the spin dies, the disc falls off to one side.
Put more spin on the disc and it will stay in the air longer.
The longer it stays in the air, the further it will fly!
Next you have to experiment with your angle of release.....
