Lightweight Putters

Anyone tried putting w lighterweight putters to try and get more distance? Just curious since everyone I know has always putted w max weight putters.

I use a 146g Omega for woods play or when there is no wind. It gives an extra 15 feet or so on my normal putt. It takes a little practice learning to put with less power outside the circle, just give it a little height and let it glide to the basket.
