Is an ESP Limited Edition comet, really limited? is it worth anything like other Limited Edition Discs. Or is it dime a dozen?
Just curious i bought one from Play it again for 4 dollars because i needed a Comet, and then i noticed it said Limited Edition on it. I dont think its very limited but im still curious!

Have you ever seen one before? How many ESP comets have you seen before? Did they say Limited Edition on them? Chances are they did not so it is probably rare and collectible. Also Discraft wouldn't put Limited Edition on it if it wasn't :) You should still throw it because they fly really well.
The ESP Limited Edition Comet was a disc run of 1000. It's fairly collectible. I have two, love them.
I havent seen many ESP Comets myself, but ive never really used them. Its fairly dirty but it doesnt have any nicks or big scratches! And it looks and feels very nice in my hand. So im definetly going to give it a chance, I just hoped it was somewhat limited. :)
Thanks Jon, thats nice to know!
I also picked up a 1998 PDGA Pro worlds disc (DX Shark) which is brand new, with the Cincy Skyline on it. And an older XL with an original "DISC PIMP" rainnbow stamp on it. I think i got to Play it again Sports right after an older gentlemen dropped off his collection! They both look in really nice shape, and im happy i got there when i did. Id love to know if theres any worth to these as well.
ESP Comet is the Best Comet they made. Thats a lucky find. I would have been real happy to find that one. And if you don't like throwing it. It can be good trade bait.

Every time I've found someone that had one they either wouldn't part with it or wanted $25+

I LOVE the Comet and is one of my favorite discs, I'd love to get my hands on one.

I am jealous of the 4 dollar comment. My used one cost 8. Shoot.
My last ace was with one of those. I have two. Great disc.
Yeah, i used mine a few times over the weekend and i am really starting to like it. I just have to get used to how understable it is!
Just recently lost my comet, hoping the dg'er behind me enjoys the find.Great disc, hit chains but didn't stay;>(
yeah my Z comet is so understable it is hard to control, i couldn't imagine a ESP. do you have to throw it half speed at an almost verticial angle?
I recently purchased a z glow comet, only 50 made. It was for a tournament here in Washington. Want to throw it but wont. If they made 1000, go get another one and save it.
