Permalink Reply by Big Easy on October 13, 2008 at 11:20am Yes it is! and it will be the only place for the team event from now on.
I WILL NO LONGER USE THE PDGA SITE FOR ANY DISCUSSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I HAVE MADE MY LAST POST ON THEIR SITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The days of the FurDog and Twoputt battles have come to an end.
The new site will not allow me to do anything but log into my home page, from there I can do nothing. any page after that requires me to log in and when I do I go right back to my home page like an evil circle. I am done with their website This is BS. It has gone on long enough. I can't even send a PM when I'm logged in, as soon as I hit send it tells me it doesn't recognize my password, after it just let me log in with that same password.
SCREW the PDGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Permalink Reply by Big Easy on October 13, 2008 at 11:40am Give it a day?????????? They have beed down a week this time, and this is only one of quite a few. At least this site has remained constant with no problems, while it may not have the bells and whistles of the PDGA thread, it IS here and WORKING. I still have the ability to read the PDGA threads but have no ability to post, send PM's or anything else. Which is fine, I'm tired of their crap and attitude about it. We are members that pay dues to have the board up and working. To tell the truth, if it wern't a requirement to have a membership to play in most events I would drop them now and NEVER renew.

Permalink Reply by Big Easy on October 13, 2008 at 11:59am You are correct Dale. I have just been getting more and more furstrated with the PDGA on several levels, this is just the straw on the camel's back for me. I understand they are using volunteers but they should also understand the PDGA site is their link to the world and what keeps events and clubs going and the events and clubs are what keeps the PDGA going. I'm just tired of depending on them and seeing the ball dropped more times than I care to see.
Example, I had IT problems begining on Thursday afternoon. I didn't want to muddle through it myself and with help from friends (volunteers) and still have no resolution to the problem. So what do you do? You hire a professional to come in and fix the problem, as I did. Now I'm up and running this morning. The expense of the fix, while costly, more than out weighs the time and frustration it would have caused with non-professionals trying to handle the problem and still not have it resolved today. If I was still down today, it would start effectiving my customers and if they can't get service they will find someon that can provide it. Like I have found with this site.
