The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Hello All, I have been using a Classic Roc for my putt and approach disc. I love the way it feels in my hands and I am able to get a really nice snap or those longer approach shots. However this disc has to be thrown at an extreme hyzer to get any kind of turn. Does anyone know of a disc that feels like the Classic Roc, that would be more stable?

Try looking into the Zone by Discraft.
Rhyno or Ringer
Stalker, Zone, Drone, in order of stability.

All are low profile discs which will feel similar to Classic Rocs. Discraft has done test runs of the Stalker and Zone in Z plastic (translucent candy) and I thought both were superb. I hope they come out in production runs one day.

At the moment Stalkers are made in D and I think Zones and Drones are only made in ESP. Of course, I could be wrong.
Its stalkers in z and zones in d and esp and drones are d and flx.
Way to tell a sponsored Discraft pro a thing or two! lol!!!
Yep the Discraft Pro mixed them up. The RINGER, Zone and Drone are all low profile discs. The STALKER is a driver. See, I told you I could be wrong.

Rescue just looks like a Discraft Pro. But if he is married then he is probably wrong much of the time, too. :)
lol! Well your sort of right Mark. I'm divorced, because I was NEVER right! lol!
Stalker is made in z. I have one in my bag. Great disc!
The Gator, but it's pretty overstable. What I like about it is it glides like a brick and has very little skip to it. The Zone is cool and so is the Ringer. However the Gator is money from 100 to 150' in. The other two are a bit to long for what I was looking for.
Ringer feels almost exactly like a Classic Roc but is more stable. I really like this disc and won't play a round without it. I keep a Zone in my bag too so I can really dial in the stability I need.
Gateway Warrior....the Warrior is overstable but has a slight dome....the old Element X was perfect.
