Hi everybody,

you can go to lemon county park in crown point Indiana, i'm sure they have a camping site but you might want to double check also its only like a hour or so drive from Chicago.
Charlie Vettiner Open is this weekend. Charlie Vettiner and the Fun Farm are being used! Dave Feldberg and Nikko Locastro are in town! If you can get here friday by 7 you can sign up to play. It is an A-Tier though so you'll have to be a PDGA member. You could camp at Buffalo Trace state park which is about a 20 minute drive from the Fun Farm and about 45 from Charlie Vettiner. Buffalo Trace also has a disc golf course right next to the campground, it costs $25 to camp there per night. There is also a realy nice looking lake at that park, very beautiful. If you are interested call me on my cell and I will try to help you out. 502-418-2942 my name is Russ
there are a bunch here in wisconsin, but i think that 3 hours would limit your ability to play good ones. if you go 4 or 5 there are a ton of very very high quality ones. check out; wild apple or justin trails or north wood co park maybe brown deer? (dont know if they have camping) or farther north, quite a bit farther there is sandy point or highbridge hills and telemark.
Three Rivers/Kalamazoo area...two courses at Meyer Broadway...Oshtemo, Robert Morris, Begg, Kimball Pines, Coldbrook, Oxbow, Wilson, Baugo, etc. all less than an hour from Three Rivers.
3 hours????

Yeah KZOO has some nice courses. I was going to say if you keep going north in michigan you will find a lot more courses all the way until Ludington's Flip City
i agree ray if he did go into Michigan then up by flip city is a nice area, but if he went to Kalamazoo area he could do some camping near cold brook, and go to the courses in battle creek area along with Meyer Broadway in three rivers, then oshtemo and Robert Morris, but he would have to avoid knollwood unless he doesn't mind a easy course to play.
If you don't mind driving a bit further, I would definitly reccomend Ludington, Michigan, or Mason Coutny Campgroud. You have Beauty, Beast, Golliath, Leviathan, and Flip City is a short drive down the freeway. What a beautiful place to camp and disc golf.
Go to Iowa City/North Liberty Iowa. Sugarbottom Campgrounds is right next to Sugarbottom DGC. This is right on the Coralville Reservoir with fishing, swimming beach and mountain biking trails. On the other side of the reservoir, you could camp at West Overlook campground. It also has a great beach and the Turkey Creek Disc golf course is right next door. There are also several other courses in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area that you could play while you are there, including Peninsula course, Jones Park and Legion Park.

Not done yet, there is also camping at Lake MacBride just north of the res. There is also a nice beach, fishing and boat rentals. However, the nearby disc golf course has wooden targets. Fun yet different! (Double check on this course, it may no longer exist.)

There are also many courses to play on the way there and home including several in the Quad Cities, Geneseo, IL and Sterling, IL.

According to mapquest, Iowa City is 200 miles from Chicago, so if you drive at least 65 mph, you should make it in three hours.

I wish I could go!
come to Michigan. We have tons and tons of courses for you to get lost in. Check this link out....great way to find courses on trips....

You enter in your zip code and your off! Have fun on your trip and let me know if you plan on coming to kalamazoo for that camping trip because i will take you to all the courses around here!
Token creek
Sandy Point Wisconsin.

Or you can go to Kalamazoo/Battle Creek, MI and play Robert Morris, Ostemo Park, Begg Park, Kimball Pines, and Coldwater park.
Wow! thanks everybody for all the suggestions! im not even sure where to begin they all sound like places I should go.
I'll pass the info along to my group and let you know where we end up.
