Marking bogies and birdies on a Scorecard.....
I played yesterday in a group where one of the players was boxing bogies. This causes confusion with our system because we can mistake them for birdies.
How does everyone else mark their cards?

we use numbers, then circles for ob penalty strokes, circle 4 etc...

Then maybe I won't feel so bad about that bogey because it has a circle around it. I earned it.

When I get asked my score and I went OB, I tell them "that's a 4 with jewelry"
