The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

i have recently been throwing the wasp and the buzz as my mid range discs. So i remembered i had a stratus somewhere from my pdga membership disc this year. i brought it out to the course and i loved it!!! it flies great and holds that line a lot longer than the buzz. I knew it was going to be my new fav. took it out to roosevelt park in Alb, nM and hole in one'd # 9. my fourth time acing the hole but whatev, i'll take it... Flew very straight and hit center chains!!! Great true flight as soon as it left my hand... What are your favs?

I use a few different mids. I have a hard time saying which is my favorite because they are all useful in their own way.
In order from under to over stable:
Star ontario roc- an-hyzers
Flx buzzz- slight an-hyzer to strait shots
Esp nebula- strait to slight hyzer shots
Z drone- hyzers
They all feel and fly so well. I love all my mids.
Comet Buzz and Roc. Throw mids more than drivers
Since most people will comment on straight flying mid ranges, I will comment on an understable and overstable disc.
I like the kite for hyzer flip and anhyzers. It has a predictable turn and has incredible glide (6).
I like the Gator for accurate placement if there is room on the right side of the basket to lay up. It has a very low glide (2) so it is doesn't hang up in the air long and since it has a 3 fade that helps it to drop in from the right and sits down without skipping too much. I see too many people trying to shoot right at the basket and drift too far past and then miss the putt. It is pretty easy to throw a gator from a hundred feet out and sit it down within 15 feet of the pole.
Hmmm...I carry six! So the ones that are my Favorites and could not live without. Are....My Champ Gator (only disc that has NEVER left my bag. For something new and pretty), SE Roc (the work horse), 1st run Buzzz(like the flatter top). CE Classic Roc (this is not your parents Roc), DX Wolf ( an Anhyzer machine. Took my Champ Panther's spot!)) OK I left it out, but I have to give kudos to my Z Drone. Even if it's only for windy days!
So If I could only live with one or consider it my most fav. I'd have to give it up to my Roc. Because if need be, With some manipulation. It could do the work of the other five that are mentioned above. Hmmm.. maybe I should get rid of them and just use the Roc?............Naahhhhh!
i love my star spider. feels great in the hand. it doesn't seem to wanna find chains on the ace or deep midrange shots, but it has hit basket which isn't all bad

it's my go-to, short hole disc
well its not that i would take out my buzz or wasp but just like the nice relaxed throw and straight glide. And i think we all use our mid's in very differen't useful ways, and very unique but i agree to whatever works.....HA HA HA HA
4 rocs
beat flat top dx rancho.....
newish flat top dx rancho....
2006 special blend rancho....
2006 champ I roc rancho
and my z drone will never leave the bag
three buzzz_ two of them are GT's
AceRace 2007_impact
AceRace 2008_Nebula
AceRace2009_ One was a putter and one was a Mid, in my mind. All there, All the time.
I just recently got a star coyote, been throwing it really well so right now it's my favorite mid.but last night i received the champion shark i bought from ebay. I haven't thrown it yet.....
I generally use a Z Wasp, Z Hawk, and FLX and Pro D Drone.
I have a Buzz in my bag but I just can't seem to throw it.
I use a Z Hawk for %85 of my mid-range shots.
Rocs all the way,

2 x DX San Marino Roc
DX Ontario Roc
KC Pro Rancho Roc
Glow Rancho Roc

And my trusty First Run Star Mako

I carry a thoroughly beat in DX Shark for some escape shots, but with one of my DX San Marino Rocs getting beat in I think I will drop it soon.
I love my mako, as you all know. But I also dig my super beat up shark and the flx buzzz. I use a comet for thumber shots that I need to sail in around some obstacles.
