Monthlies at Black Butte Lake DGC

The ACES Monthlies are on the third Saturday every month. Now that it is Fall, we will be starting at 9am again, teeing off for the first round at 10am. Come early if you want to park by the first hole.

 

$10 entry fee
2 rounds of singles

Gate opens at 9am
Sign in starts at 9:30am (or earlier)

Must have four or more players to make a division

Early arrivals can park in the big gravel parking lot by Hole #1

Late arrivals (after 9:45) will have to park along the road outside gate

Tee Off at 10am and Noonish
Entry fee breakdown = $8 payout, $1 Course Improvement Fund, $1 Ace Pool
The Ace Pool stands at $66 for the weekend of 11/20/10

We had our first Monthly on the 9th of January. The participants in attendance decided that in the future we will be holding our Monthlies on the 3rd weekend of every month, we will play two rounds of singls and the entry fee will be $20 (with half of that going towards the course fund).

We should have our new 2010 Bag tags by February's Monthly. They will cost $20 each.

I am thinking that maybe we should institute an Ace Pool for our Monthlies at Black Butte Lake! Maybe $1-2 bucks automatically taken out of the monthly Club "donation" fund that we all pay into and roll it over every month until somebody wins it. What do you guys think about that idea? We could even back date it a month to get things started. Sound good to anybody? I'm looking for some input here.

The Orland ACES Monthly Fall Season starts at 10am Saturday morning. 2 rounds of singles, $10 entry fee and cash payouts. This is the last Monthly before the 2010 NorCal Series Championships, so there could be some serious players from out of town checking out the action. Could be fun!
