Moving to Portland, OR, need help with location to live

I am moving to Portland, OR and need some help with the surrounding area to find the best places for a disc golfer to start life there.

Well if your looking to be close to a disc golf course you only have a few choices. PIer Park is an 18 hole cousre located in far North East Portland, technically I don't think its in Portland proper but the couse rocks and is in my top 5 courses I've played. Out in the Eastern burbs in Gresham there is Dabny State Park which I have heard great things about but never have played. Other than those too there isn't much else othr than a few 6 and 9 hole couses. So you really have to choose how close you want to live next to a course  verse how close you want to actually live in Portland.
