I hear ya, It's just my last Roc is on its last leg and instead of getting a new one I'm just replacing it with an equal disc by a different company. Because the mid-range is such an important part of my game i go through them a lot. So the Elite Z plastic is my favaorite in the whole world so a Z Wasp just seemed like a good fit.
You might want to try a Z Wasp and a Z Buzzz. I carry both in the bag but end up using the Buzzz much more often, the straight shot being more called upon than the hyzer. In Z plastic they take forever to break in, so it's not like you can just wait for it to change flights.
Ordering a disc through the mail/internet is a bit risky. With Buzzzes and Wasps you can get them flat topped or domey. Most players have a preference between the two. Not that they fly all that differently, they just fit in the hand differently.
don't under estimate the elite x wasp breaks in a little quicker but not super fast think kc pro . they also seem to start out a little more stable. I use a scotch brite pad to take some of the"shiny" finish of to improve th grip. nothing drastic just enough to get the slightly broken in feeling(by the way is that pdga legal?)
