new disc. I have undergone shoulder surgery and am fighting throwing sidearmed...of course everything is in reverse...what is meant by throwing with a 10 degree down for a sidearm delivery?  This conversion thing is a bit of a bear...thanks for any input...

What? What about "epic"? The disc epic? I think you are looking for: releasing the disc 10 degrees down, away from you in a hyzer angle for sidearm shots. The purpose of this is that with the increased spin you can generate on a sidearm, it makes almost any disc turn over. So this is in effect a hyzer flip shot for sidearm. Good luck. By the way, don't throw epics.
just curious...why not epics...first one....approved by PDGA. still learning..with shoulder injury need alittle help...do you think it is a unfair advantage...or what do you think are the shortcomings? thanks

Keep the outside edge of the disc pointed toward the ground so that the spin and torque you put on it pulls it up to just past flat and creates glide. Leaning a bit helps keep this angled downward...like Ultimate players do throwing sidearm.
let me add...I'm surprised it is PDGA approved...
This is a ridiculous disc throwing over hand.
I have seen some crazy shots with the Epic.
Youtube.com it "Disc Golf EPIC" very cool disc
