I noticed this the other day,  anyone herd of this yet?


"The Innova Wahoo long range driver recieved its approval yesterday. Flight numbers are 13 (speed) and a 6 (glide), HSS is -2 and the LSS is +3.

It will be available in R-Pro within four weeks. Wahoo will float in water up to 169-170grams.

Some numbers for us plastic-addicts:
Outside diameter: 21.0 cm
Inside rim diameter: 16.1 cm
Height: 2.0 cm
Rim depth: 1.2 cm
Rim thickness: 2.4 cm
Flexibility rating: 10.21 kg
Rim configuration rating: 33.25
Maximum weight allowed: 174.3 g"

Katanas are enough of the fast long discs we dont need another.
ultimately blame the scientists. I don't think Wahoo would have been a choice name if i had to name that fish.... next, we'll have a large midrange disc that floats, its characteristics will resemble that of a Sperm Whale, wonder what its name will be.....
I "wahoo-ed" a case of beer in my rascal years.(the act of grabbing alcohol then running out of the store whilst screaming WAHOO!) So with karma being a beeyotch, i would expect someone to wahoo my wahoo the first day I threw it.
That's the same thing some one said about the XD when it came out. XD does stand for eXtra Distance after all. :)

Well being the plastic junkie I am. I had to try them. Thank god they are called "XD" for now. I already got to much crap for throwing a bright pink disc called the Flow.
The funny thing is. With Lat 64 making killer discs and now it's Innova and Discraft playing catch up. I find myself thinking. Hmmmm..."the Wahoo, sounds like the Flow?.."
LOL to all responses.a few names to consider: "Woods","Shule","TT"(tree TOP),"NF"(Not Fairway"),"Darkness"
I think the name fits the disc perfect by how it's described. I think the A is pernounced different in yahoo and wahoo
I'll wait for the Mahi Mahi.....Grilled!!!
Mahi Mahi is just another name for the Dolphin.
I have eaten ono on Oahu, then drank Big Bang at Brew Moon, after playing disc golf with Mondo Chun!
