Good Link answered a few om my questions about OB

Great article, Chuck.  The pictures and illustrations helped.

On a side note, I have a question for you.  I was looking at all the people signed up for The Memorial.  Most of them have a green check by their name but a few of them have a red X.  What do the green check and red X mean?

Green checks are for the people who have passed the new rules test already.
Ahh, thanks!  So are they not able to play if they haven't passed?
Correct.
My problem with the last one on the list dealing with don't mark/move your disc until it's declared O.B. or not is if you don't know you're near O.B. or wouldn't dream anyone else would consider your lie to be 'close' to O.B. But, you shouldn't touch your disc or go off alone to your lie without a witness in most cases, anyways. Sportsmanship.
Very good article.
Know it's true that 'officials' need to retake the test.
Are players going to have to for Larger (national tour) events again?
It helps to know the rules.
Unfortunately there is not enough interest to have 'marshalls' walking around.
TD's unfortunately do not enforce all the rules.
All pros playing in NTs and Majors plus all Ams playing in Majors must pass the test before they can play.

Thanks Chuck.

Passed it the 'first time' last year.

It's good to know the rules....

Everyone should know them.

Also,

would like to have Certain Rules written that consider conduct in and around tournaments. How "WE" look to the public is very important. Maybe these conduct rules should be in the upcoming tests.

If TD's do not enforce 'such rules' then their right to TD ought to be investigated by the PDGA.

It's very unfortunate that rules are not enforced for the benefit of everyone.

Seen and heard top TD's not enforcing rules ....

This is an opinion shared by many that have been at this game for along time.

Is there any place you can take a sample test ?
You'll start seeing more questions coming from the Competition Mnual in addition to the rulebook.
