The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Ok I have been playing for about 5 months now, and have just recently become comfortable enough to open my horizon to more discs. I stumbled upon a new word in disc golf that i don't understand. What is a beaded disc? I saw that on the description of a Roc. Thanks.

the bead on a disc is a ring of plastic on the botton of the rim on a disc. it typically makes the disc more stable and a little easier to control since you know what direction it will head towards the end of it's flight. if you check out the innova site, it lets you take a look at the whole disc in a 360 view. this will allow you to check out that bead.
Ah. I see it now. I appreciate it.
Rhyno has a bead on top like a Birdie aka thumb track
