New to the site.

I just wanted to say hello to everyone on here. So far it's been great. I'm just another new player (About a year) looking to learn more and more.

I'm from Huntsville Alabama, I'm blessed to have several awesome courses to play on, and a ton of people at any course any day to meet and play a round with.

I've just got a regular Lightning Large bag. It's ok, but not great. I want to get a Fade Gear Crunchbox. It'll force me to bring only the discs I use alot.

I actually carry the discs above, plus an extra Valkyrie, and a Elite Z Cyclone an extra Roc, an extra Wizard and a Hydra. I just rarely ever use the Cyclone, the older Wizard, and the Hydra.

The Boss I throw a lot. It's a little difficult for me to throw, but when I get a good release it goes FAR, I throw the Crsh in its place if I don't need to go really long. The Groove is super long and a great straight flying disc the Sidewinder is the backup for it. I find the Valkyries great on long lazy right dogleg holes, plus I can work em great for hard right turn drives too. The Roadrunner I can't get to go hard right yet, I think I need to run over it with my car a few times or something, it doesn't fly like advertised lol.

The Whippet I never throw, I can do the same thing more predictably with a Roc on a slight Hyzer, the Stingray I can throw nice and straight or work it anny for holes I tend to overthrow with a Valk, but I rarely need it, the HX2 does the exact same thing, I can drop one of the Rocs, and I use the Aero on long puts and the clear wizard within 80' or so. The Hydra is my windy day put approach disc

I'm thinking about just starting to carry the Boss, the Groove, one Valkyrie, the sidewinder, the stingray, one Roc, the buzzz, one wizard and the Aero. Cutting down to 9 or 10 discs sounds awfully tempting. I can keep the others as backups in case I lose one of the primarys.

Just picked up a Fade Gear Crunchbox today, and a Opto Line Riot. Time for the disc cuts to begin HA HA HA HA!!!! Down to 10!!!! Less Discs, less confusion, less crampy shoulder at the end of the day. WOOOOT!

Hey I wish someone would have taught me proper throw mechanics when i first started. It is easier to learn than to relearn how to shoot.

It's funny, apparently in my passed life I threw a lot of discs. First time on the tee pad I wasn't too far from acing Hole 1 on Mastin Lake course. I just watched my girlfriends step dad throw, the emulated exactly what he did. I actually have my mechanics in good shape, I'm just working on becoming consistent. Once I get throwing flat and letting the disc do the work, I'll start working on maybe some Hyzer flips, apparently that is the way to get serious distance, so I'll get a couple of lighter weight Valks and start working with them until I can really rip em. I do have several friends that need the videos though. I did when I first started watch several of the Disc craft instructionals, they actually helped a lo with smoothing out a couple of minor bugs.

nice bag you got going there, when i get a bag and decide to fill it i should have 10-11 disc maybe more since i will probably have more then one of the same disc like most people generally do.
