New World Record for "The most disc golf holes played in 24 hours"

On Sept 18-19, 2010 I played 1114 holes of disc golf and set a new world record for the "Most holes of disc golf played in 24 hours". I played at Beth Schmidt Park in Elon NC from noon Saturday until noon Sunday.

2842 throws + 1 penalty = 2843
499 under par
541 Birdies
532 Pars
40 Bogies
1 Double bogey
0 Aces
Most birdied hole = 106 on hole 1
Most parred hole = 100 on hole 6
Most bogied hole = 9 on hole 2
Lowest round score = -8
Highest round score = +4
Penalty strokes = 1. OB in road on hole 6 after a badly shanked drive in round 114

Dude, that is absolutely amazing, I wish I lived by you, I would have played all day! The most holes I have played in 1 day was 6 games so, 108 holes!

yeah. why not? especially if you dont have to pay attention to anything or anyone but your disc. HOLE INFO - 1 69 ft (3) 2 180 ft (3) 3 150 ft (3) 4 135 ft (3) 5 100 ft (3) 6 270 ft (3) 7 210 ft (3) 8 140 ft (3) 9 100 ft (3). No wonder you played so many holes. 1354'. Thats like, a good par 4 or something isnt it?

Yup, I wasn't going to do it at Winthrop Gold, that's for sure. All you have to do is to walk at a good pace for 50-60 miles over 24 hours.

That was a lot of work !!! Sweet!! ....which only could be done on an entry level course..and it sounds like this course is the one for that. Great Job Lowe!!


One last thing.....out of 124 throws on hole 1 @ 69 feet...and no Aces...that's probably a record in it's own right. ; )~

60+ miles on your feet....throwing discs...should have gotten an endorsement from Advil.
